Sandra Renee Palenzuela
Sandra Renee Palenzuela (Slimmen), 66, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully at her home on July 8, 2021.
She was born on 12/9/1954 to Ellie Miller.
She liked to crochet and made many blankets. She loved her four-legged children. She liked country music. Her pride and joy were her dogs.
Sandra is survived by her daughter: Rea Ditler, son-in-law: Kraig Luthe, son: Thomas (Jennifer) Lindsay, sisters: Linda Mossholder, Melissa Miller, Barb Ellis, brothers: Butch Malcheski, Bobby Slimmen (Mary), Ed and Dana Slimmen, her grandchildren: Madelyn Lindsay, Bennett Lindsay, Vanessa Lindsay and Aaron Whitehead, many nieces and nephews, and her special friends Leah Larson and Raymond B.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Ellie Miller, her father: Garry Slimmen, and brother-in-law: Dan Mossholder (Blondie).
A special thank you to her hospice nurse Lindsay- Thank you for taking wonderful care of our mom.
A celebration of life for Sandra will be held on Wednesday, July 14 from 2-4pm at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska.
“In honor of her love for bright colors, we ask that if you choose to join us for Sandra’s celebration of life, please wear tie dye. You never caught her without some form of tie dye, even on her shoes! Peace & love, hope to see you there.”
Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family during their time of loss.
