Sharon Louise (Vosler) Leonard
Sharon Louise (Vosler) Leonard, 69, died on March 2, 2021, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 25, 1951, in Lake City, Minnesota, to Dale Vosler and Beverly Jean (Boler) Nelson. She graduated from Ellsworth High School, in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, in 1969. She married Jerry A. Leonard in 1970. She lived most of her life in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, and later Ridgeland, Wisconsin.
She is survived by her daughters, Nicole L. Leonard (Richard Jalichandra) and Jenna D. Leonard-Spah (Mike Spah); her grandchildren, Charl Jalichandra, Parker Spah, and Axl Spah; her former husband and long-time friend, Jerry A. Leonard; her partner, Mark Bernecker; her sisters, Tracy (Nelson) Koplin (Rick Koplin) and Terry (Vosler) Hinck; her nephews and nieces, Cameron Koplin, Amy Berktold Ogren, Chris Berktold, and Mandy Hinck; her mother-in-law, Berniece E. Leonard; her brother-in-law, James E. Leonard (Barb LaCroix); her niece, Gina M. Leonard; her nephew, Michael J. Leonard; and her step-father, Ronald W. Nelson.
Sharon loved animals, horseback riding, farming, gardening, music, and the outdoors. Animals were her greatest comfort and passion, and she was likewise theirs. In honor of Sharon’s life and her love for animals, remembrances may be made in the form of charitable contributions to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) https://www.aspca.org, or your favorite local or national animal welfare charity.
A small family remembrance service will be held.
Sorry sad to hear of Sharon’s passing. Her and I bartended together at Snows and I watched her cats whenever she went out of town. She had the best laugh. RIP my friend
