Stanley E. Schultz

Stanley E. Schultz (85), of Rockland (Black River Falls) passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Stanley aka Handyman Stan, aka Grumpy Old Man, aka Santa was a lover of classic cars and baseball. He spent many summers all over the tri-state showing his prized cars as well as watching his grandchildren and the Brewers play ball. He could talk for hours about them and rarely missed a game. He enjoyed traveling and made friends everywhere he went. He even made the newspaper in Mexico when he would vacation there after Christmas, complete with his famous Santa suit.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Kate) Schultz; his sons Randy (Joyce) Schultz, Rick (Sara) Schultz, Ronald (Christine) Schultz; his daughters April Boland, Nicole Schultz, and Jennifer Gilbertson; his sisters Norma Lynn and Margaret Franklin; Gary Schultz as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his mother Gladys, father Robert; brothers Herman, Robert, Richard, George, Phillip, Emil, Donald, and his daughter Pamela Schultz.

There will be a celebration of life to honor Stanley on June 8, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Gaylord Park, Rockland, WI.

    So sorry to hear of Stan’s passing. My dad, John Vorlob, used to be friends with Stan near Millston. We were just thinking of him and googled him to sadly finding his obituary.

      Thank you so much. Stan and I had great memories of time spent with your parents. Hunting with the boys, trips to Mexico and just time spent visiting made for a good friendship.
