Theresa Ann (Suchla) Stanislowski
Theresa Ann Stanislowski (Suchla); 83 years old passed away with family by her side on Saturday April 6th 2024.
Theresa was born August 28th, 1940 to Thomas (Tom Bill) and Martha Suchla (Klonecki) of Arcadia WI. She was one of 9 children that had the privledge of growing up in a loving family. Theresa married Edward Stanislowski on May 2nd, 1964. She supported him through his army deployment and they raised 4 beautiful girls together. She was employed through Ashley furniture for many years and then transitioned to TRW in Ettrick in her finally working years where she retired. At the center of Theresa’s heart was love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family. She enjoyed keeping herself busy; never sitting down. She would make dinner every Sunday often baking way too many sweets.
Theresa is preceeded in death by her parents; 7 of her siblings; her husband Edward Stanislowski; and great grandchild Aiden Oomens.
Theresa is survived by her brother William Suchla; her daughters: Laurie (Dan) Swenson, Lisa (Michael) Massoth, Nancy Phillips, and Nicole (Jason) Daffinson; her grandchildren: Terisa (Jacob) Oomens, Lacey (Brady) McCabe, Marissa (Mitch) Ristau, Blythe (Gabriella) Phillips, and Shelby Massoth; and her great grandchild Aubrianna McCabe.
She truly had a heart of gold that loved God and family deeply. She always had a smile and good attitude. She did enjoy a guilty pleasure of going to the casino on her birthday and also enjoyed board games which she was accused of cheating many times as she’d always seem to win. She will be missed deeply by her loved ones and friends but we know she is dancing away with her husband in heaven and praising God. We know this is not goodbye but a see you soon.
The family would like to thank the nurses of Mayo Hospice for providing compassionate and empathetic care as she passed.
Services will be held at Saint Bartholomews Catholic church in Trempealeau WI on Saturday April 13th, 2024 at 11:00am. The visitation will be prior to the service 9:00-11:00. Luncheon will follow in the church hall.
