Thomas “Nova Tom” Kemp
Thomas “Nova Tom” Delos Kemp, 70, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2020 at Hillview Healthcare Facility in La Crosse. He was born November 5, 1949 to Leroy and Mary (Jeffers) Kemp. He was married to Mollie (Moe) from 1971 to 1995.
Tom graduated from Logan High School in 1967. He worked for La Crosse Footwear and retired from Chart. He enjoyed working on old cars, car races, car shows, woodworking, the outdoors, taking walks, animals, and mostly spending time with his grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Matthew) Gran; grandchildren, Kyle (Maggie) Gran, Kirsten Gran; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Taron; siblings, David (Hilde) Kemp, Jeffrey Kemp, Laurie Kemp; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and great-granddaughter, Reyna.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Hillview Healthcare Facility, especially Kathy.
Donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October, 11, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a luncheon following at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

loved ones. Tom was a kind, soft-spoken , dignified person. We enjoyed his company when he and my sister Elaine came to family and holiday get-togethers. He always had something interesting to talk about and share. May he rest in peace.
