Timothy Curtis Beck

May 11, 2024 | 5 comments

Timothy Curtis Beck, 51, of Alma Center, Wisconsin passed away peacefully May 8, 2024 at Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin surrounded by family. He was born April 6, 1973 to Curtis and Charrolet Beck.

He married Amy Mercer June 11, 2016 creating a blended family of three daughters; Samantha, J’Amy and Sarenity, whom he loved dearly. Be it a phone call, video chat or visit, his grandchildren, Ivan and Trinity were the ones to always bring the biggest smile to his face even on a bad day.

Tim was always willing to lend a helping hand which often came with a smile, story and a sarcastic sense of humor. Tim’s favorite hobby was fishing. It didn’t matter if he was fishing with his family, friends or by himself, if he caught the biggest fish of his life, the smallest fish or if he got skunked. Tim also loved deer hunting and gardening. Tim grew wonderful looking tomato plants, jalapenos and sunflowers. We will all miss his stuffed jalapenos.

Tim spent much of his life farming and working in the woods logging. Most recently he worked as a log truck driver for many years until he was no longer able due to his declining health.

Tim’s personality brought joy to everyone he encountered and he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Memories of Tim will remain in the hearts and minds of his family, friends and all who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him.

Tim is survived by his wife Amy, daughters Samantha Beck (Ryan Amundson), J’Amy Mercer, and Sarenity Beck. Grandchildren Ivan and Trinity Amundson. Parents Curtis and Charrolet Beck. Siblings Tracy Beck, Daniel (Bambi) Beck, Heidi (Mike) Gheri, Matthew (Ashley) Beck and Justin (Marcy) Beck. HIs maternal Grandmother Mavis Olson, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Lyle Olson, Curtis Sr. and Doris Beck, Uncles David Beck, Kenny Beck, and Loren Olson.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Schroeder Shelter in the Blair Park from 1-4 p.m. with a private burial service to be held at a later date.
