Tyler Duane Henry

Tyler Duane Henry, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on September 2nd 2020.  He was born in La Crosse, WI to Dennis Henry and Kelly Clinkscales.

Tyler grew up in Hokah, MN.  Throughout his childhood there he made many life-long friends.  Tyler was known to bring up others spirits when they were down. His presence and humor were known to make someone laugh.  He also loved anything to do with being outdoors.  He enjoyed Hunting, fishing, camping and cookouts with his family.  He worked for a family friend’s tree business for years, and studied at WTC for a welding degree but was unable to obtain due to a tree accident that left him disabled, but that didn’t stop his ambitions to make a future for his family.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis Henry, Kelly Clinkscales; his beautiful children Makahla, Kayden, Christian, Ruby and Jack; his sister, Ashley Nash and her children Cheyanne, Austin,Hudson;  his best friend and sister, Kahla Henry and her children Nakyah, Cameron;  aunts and uncles, Terry and Marlene Johnson, Dan and Donna Volker, Jay and Paula Clinkscales, Dean and Kim Clinkscales, Rick and Sondra Clinkscales.

He was preceeded in death by his grandparents. Charles and Myrtle Henry, Duane Clinkscales And Grace O’neil; and his dog, Mia Mae.

      I babysat for Tyler (and Ashley) a few times when he was just a little guy on the south side of La Crosse. Later, my son David attended head start with Tyler in Hokah. I lost track of him after that but always remembered him as such a sweet little boy. My deepest condolences to all his family and friends.

    My sympathy to the Henry family. I babysit Tyler, Kahla, and Ashley for a long time while growing up in Hokah. He was always s quite the character, but I still managed to see him on occasion through the years and we always talked. May Tyler be at peace now.
