To all of Bill’s family and friends I give you my deepest sympathy at this sad time. I first met Bill probably in the summer of 1961 when I started as a gas boy at Viking Aviation. He was always so nice to me and we always had good times at Vesta’s restaurant during our lunches and coffee breaks. I eventually got hired by NCA as a pilot and in the many years after he was a joy to work with. Later as a Captain and flying many trips into LSE, When I saw Bill directing us into our parking spot, I knew that everything would be handled professionally, but with great friendship. When he worked the passenger counter, there was never a problem he couldn’t handle with a smile. I will miss him very much but with very fond memories. He was a great influence on me.
